breadline
Throughout time there has been inequality leading to food shortages amongst those least able to provide for themselves. From the times of Dickens until the early twentieth century when in America the term “Breadline” first came into being up until the present day food shortage has been a concern.
It therefore comes as a surprise that in our supposedly caring Western society there are so many people still unable to feed themselves. Luckily there are groups of people, who, with a caring and altruistic mind find ways in which to alleviate hunger for an ever increasing poverty stricken section of the public.
Here in the UK these people are the antithesis of the ruling parties mantra of “greed is good” and go to show that in it’s present form capitalism is anything but good.
